DBX 1231

Nothing negative to say, except there's a little background noise, but not bothering. Very well made and each button pleasant to use

The DBX 1231 is an excellent quality equalizer. I use it for listening with headphones or in the HiFi system, where I compensate for the acoustic defects of my environment. Does not introduce unwanted noise, tested with Schiit DAC/DBX1231/Atoll amplifier/Dynaudio speakers, rotating the amplifier volume knob beyond the halfway point (with the track paused). Aesthetically very beautiful. Fully satisfied. Safe and fast Thomann shipping.

No frills - just solid workmanship, well constructed, excellent sonic quality - everything you'd expect from DBX, and well worth paying that little bit extra for!

I am currently running an active 3-way Linn Isobarik system with 3 Crown xls 1502 amps which replaced the dedicated Linn Crossover and six Qudos Avondale Audio Monoblocks amplifiers. I had a couple of minor niggles - wanted a slightly fuller upper bass for male vocals and a bit more snap/ crack to drum rim shots - perhaps a slightly deeper and tighter bass to. With a couple of very minor adjustments using the DBX 1231 I have now quashed those niggles. The unit is superb - really well made and cannot detect any extra noise/ hiss in my system.
