Very good strings
Anonymous 30.10.2016
I play in a group based in France under the name of TAÏ PHONG and we are a rock prog band !
I had a guitar shop during 15 years and I have tried almost all the brands you could find !
D'Addario NYXL are my favourite brand because they have a bright , accurate and ringing tone ! They also last three times longer than other brands ! The strings are very stable and since I have locking machine heads they stay very quickly in tune !
When I play Shadows tunes I use NYXL1152 but with Taï Phong I use O8 , 09 , O,10 , 0,26 , 36 , 46 which is completely different but they are just as fine !

Less stretch. Bedding in time reduced.
Anonymous 23.05.2016
Used on a 25.5" scale length Matsumoku built humbucker equipped guitar. Noticeably faster at settling down following installation and a quick (manual) stretch. They also seem a little less bright initially than my usual choice, Daddario exl115's. As far as the manufacturers claims of improved tone and output go, I couldn't say I have noticed any difference, but I get plenty enough output from my amps already! A little expensive, but they do last well. Overall, the best strings I have used, mainly because of the fast bedding in time.

The High-Tension Tuning Titan
kineskistapici 06.03.2026
If you're tired of constantly retuning after big bends or aggressive rhythm playing, these strings are a massive upgrade over the standard nickel sets. They feel noticeably stiffer and have a snappy tension that makes the guitar feel more alive, plus they don't go dead nearly as fast as cheaper strings despite not being coated. The 11-52 gauge is perfect if you want a thick, chunky low end for power chords but still need to be able to rip through lead lines without fighting the high strings too much.
