ATH-M40X Ear Pads

I bought them to replace the old ones that were really worn out. I wanted to replace just for the looks but I was in for a surprise.
When I put on the new ones it was like my headphones resurrected. They were dead and I didn't know it. The sound had become blunt and because the drop in quality was gradual I hadn't noticed. I only thought I grew bored of them but that was not the case. I have back the headphones I loved.

Only problem (the one missing star) is not because of the pads but because of the headphones. Until I finished the replacement I was really anxious I might break the headphones at the (well known) weak joint. But all went well. Just needs patience and slow, gentle moves.

Difficult to put on

Good quality, however took a few hours to get on to the earphones.

Came quick and did its job, extending the life og my audio technicas! Until the cable gave out sometime later. Was nice to have comfort on my ears again.
