Antelope Zenith 2

I’ve been using the Antelope Zenith 2 for both music production (Ableton) and live-related preparation, and overall I’m very satisfied with it.

The sound quality is excellent — converters and preamps are clean, detailed and definitely above average for this price range. My KRK monitors sound absolutely great: clear, powerful and well-defined. The workflow is also very smooth, and the built-in DSP is useful for quick setups and low-latency monitoring.

Another big plus is the compact design and USB-powered flexibility, which makes it very practical for mobile setups or smaller workstations.

However, one thing I noticed is related to the headphone output: even with the headphone mixers set to 100% and the volume knob at maximum, my Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250 Ohm don’t really “stand out” in terms of volume. It works correctly, but I expected a bit more headroom for high-impedance headphones.

Overall, it’s a very solid interface with great sound and features, especially for producers and performers who want quality in a compact setup. Just keep in mind the headphone power if you’re using demanding headphones.

Tengo una Oriónstudio de Rev2017 y estoy encantado con ella. Así que decidí probar esta pequeña, y como ya conocía el ecosistema de Antelope, no me decepcionó. La resolución de la pantalla es excelente, aunque una pantalla un poco más grande habría sido genial. Tiene una construcción robusta, caja metálica y potenciómetros suaves. Todo me encanta y cumple perfectamente con los estándares de Antelope. Es un producto fantástico, con una gran cantidad de plugins nativos y un sonido a la altura de la calidad que Antelope nos tiene acostumbrados. Por lo que cuesta, la relación calidad-precio es inmejorable. ¡Me encanta!
