Game Changing!
I’ve been making music on GarageBand for years, but wanted to start playing my electronic music out live, so finally invested in Ableton, and it’s been game changing.
The increase in the level of control is exponential. I had to watch a few YouTube vids to begin with to understand it, but picked it up very quickly, and my standard of my tunes is increasing daily. Highly recommend.

High Quality DAW with good discount for students
I’m an intermediate producer working mainly with Hip Hop, RnB, and EDM, using Ableton Live 12 Suite in my home studio. After switching from FL Studio and previously using Ableton Live Lite, this version feels like a huge step up.
What I love most is Ableton’s minimal and fast workflow. Everything feels intuitive and keeps me focused on creativity. The included plugins, instruments, and effects in the Suite version are top-notch and easily good enough to produce professional-quality tracks without relying heavily on third-party plugins.
Coming from FL Studio, the transition was smooth, and Ableton’s workflow suits my style much better, especially for arranging, sound design, and experimenting with ideas. Stability has been solid, and Live 12 feels polished and modern.
Overall, Ableton Live 12 Suite EDU is an excellent choice for students who want a powerful, professional DAW at a fair price. Highly recommended.

Best DAW out there
I tried the intro version, and immediately fell in love with Ableton. I couldn't find another DAW with such immense features and functionality. Great prices on Thomann too!!

A Different DAW to the Others
Ableton offering this to me half price as a student made it a no-brainer. i still use Cubase some of the time but Ableton's creativity inspiring offering entices me very, very often :)

Worth it from before purchase
I always pirated Ableton because I was a broke jobless student. But once I learned about this, and was finally able to afford an official license, it has allowed me to do what i want. I can finally publish things publicly, and not have to worry about takedowns for illegal use. And Ableton itself is a 9/10 product in general. Only downside is no linux support.

You can't go wrong with Live Suite
It's a fantastic piece of software. You can do just about anything with it! It has such an attractive UI as well.
